Daylights
I know, it's not the most recent hardware, but I've always used my QuadCore with great joy on Snow Leopard with no problem at all. Now with Lion, the only problem I have is getting it to sleep. I am using a DSDT for the Gigabyte GA-EP41-UD3L which is working flawless with Snow Leopard. Now when I try to get it to sleep, it seems to work in the beginning: - Monitor goes off; - Can hear the HD shutting down; - System is still on; After about 20 seconds, system reboots and boots ok in Lion. I am running in 32bits, 64 bits does the same. Tried another AppleRTC version which helps against BIOS resets, but my BIOS settings are never reset. Lion 10.7.3 retail install using latest ##### Chimera 1.7.0 r1394 Gigabyte GA-EP41-UD3L 2x 2GB mem ATI Radeon 6850 1GB I rather not try SleepEnabler, but if this is the only solution I'm willing to try. Daylights
Ok, not many reactions. Looking back I might have chosen the wrong section for this thread, my apologies. I've tried SleepEnabler as my only known solution for this and it works. I thought with Mountain Lion coming out, there might be no updates coming for Lion anymore, so SleepEnabler does it for now. If someone knows any other solution, I'm all ears Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/276340-sleep-wont-work-1073-ga-ep41-ud3l/#findComment-1800881 Share on other sites
