I know, it's not the most recent hardware, but I've always used my QuadCore with great joy on Snow Leopard with no problem at all. Now with Lion, the only problem I have is getting it to sleep.

I am using a DSDT for the Gigabyte GA-EP41-UD3L which is working flawless with Snow Leopard. Now when I try to get it to sleep, it seems to work in the beginning:

- Monitor goes off;

- Can hear the HD shutting down;

- System is still on;

After about 20 seconds, system reboots and boots ok in Lion.

I am running in 32bits, 64 bits does the same. Tried another AppleRTC version which helps against BIOS resets, but my BIOS settings are never reset.

Lion 10.7.3 retail install using latest #####

Chimera 1.7.0 r1394

Gigabyte GA-EP41-UD3L

2x 2GB mem

ATI Radeon 6850 1GB

I rather not try SleepEnabler, but if this is the only solution I'm willing to try.

Ok, not many reactions. Looking back I might have chosen the wrong section for this thread, my apologies.

I've tried SleepEnabler as my only known solution for this and it works. I thought with Mountain Lion coming out, there might be no updates coming for Lion anymore, so SleepEnabler does it for now. If someone knows any other solution, I'm all ears :)
