This is my laptop: MEDION MD95500 Intel ® Centrino ™! mobile Technology Intel ® Pentium ® M Processor 740 (2 MB L2 cache, 1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB) Intel ® 915PM Express Chipset PCI Intel ® PRO / Wireless 2200 LAN 802.11g 17 "TFT WXGA Widescreen 1440x900 pixels 100 GB ATA hard drive 5400 rpm Built-in TV tuner for digital 128 MB PCI Express x16 graphics NVIDIA ® GeForce ™ Go 6600 1024 MB DDR II RAM DVD RW Bluetooth ™ Multi Card Reader reads and writes, SD, MMC, MS + MS Pro 6-channel audio out 2 built-in speakers with subwoofer 4x USB 2.0 FireWireIEEE1394 - your direct connection to the digital future Network Controller 10/100 Mbit / s, 56K/V90 Modem including modem connection cable I want to install MAC OS on it... First I installed iDeneb 10.5.8 ...with patched kernel..Everything went ok...but i couldn't get all my hardware to work So i tried to install Snow leopard: I tried iATKOS S3 v2, HAZARD distribution, but i am having the same problem: I can boot, i want to use disk utility to make paritions, but it gives me error at "unmounting disk" => cannot unmount.. or.. I fully erase the HDD with seagate tool, than i can make partitions, i close disk utility but it freezes there...only the spinnig wheel of the cursor... I have succeded to insta ll once...I was having ideneb distro and then i used iatkos, it installed well, but after reboot i saw the apple log with the croosed circle up => problem with the kernel think... Now I need help...I want to install Snow leopard but i dont know if it support ATA drives, and I dont know if I can install it on my laptop Do I have to modify the dvd?(putting some kexts) Does it not recognize my hdd, or my CPu ?
