Hi guys... First post here. I just passed my two quizes and here i'm with you. By the way that quiz idea is great. Well done (:

So here's my problem...

Today i've just installed a clean 10.6.8 from scratch. Just for your information this is what I've done so far.

1. Installed 10.6.3 Retail

2. Then upgraded to 10.6.8 via apple's combo upgrade

3. Then installed Chameleon Boot loader. In all of this process i've started my Mac OS with GraphicsEnabler = No tag just to be on the safe side.

4. After Chameleon i've downloaded the latest nVidia drivers from official nVidia web site and also CUDA drivers too and installed both.

5. I've started Mac with "GraphicsEnabler = Yes" tag and everything was working perfectly. Both monitors with native resolutions and QE/CI was working too. I've just tested it with adding a widget to Dashboard.

But the fun stuff now starts.

In these two Snapshots i've added those red circles to show you what i'm experiencing but in this snapshot i've done nothing to get this red triangle.

This is how I see my VGA in system profiler.

  83	0 0x54e19000 0x2000 0x1000 com.nvidia.CUDA (1.1.0) <4 1>

So at first look, it seems like an artifact or a spike in VRAM but I'm a constant gamer and I don't have any problems when playing games. Or using my VGA in other applications in Windoze or Linux. None.. Nothing... Just in Mac OS :(

I know i'm not at the safe side using an Intel machine but... How can we handle this problem.

By the way just FYI i'm using legacy kernel and here's my uname -a output

Darwin SoulMac.local 10.8.0 Darwin Kernel Version 10.8.0: Mon Jun 27 20:06:12 EDT 2011; legacy kernel v8 :xnu-1504.15.3/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 i386

Thanks a ton anyways guys (:
