Compgeke
I finally got Lion installed on my desktop, a Dell XPS 410, except I have a couple problems. 1.) The internet speed is 4-6 Kb/s. If I boot into safemode it's between 186 and 250 Kb/s, any logical reason for this? It's detected as an Apple E1000 adapter, and I tried the E1000 kext from ##### and have no changes. 2.) My GeForce 9800 GTX+ is locked at 1024x768, and is detected as having 14 MB memory, when it's a 512 MB card. Not bugging me as much as the internet though. 3.) The Dell memory card reader does not work. I can use an external reader but the Dell OEM reader doesn't work at all, although it does work under Windows 7. 4.) My WinTV HVR-1850 does not work, go figure (it's called a WINTV, wasn't designed to work on a mac in the 1st place). I installed using iAtkos L2. The system specs are: 2.66 GHz Core 2 Duo (E6700) 3 GB DDR2 ram PNY XLR8 (GeForce) 9800 GTX+ 512 MB 750 GB Hitachi hard drive Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS (haven't touched that yet) WinTV HVR-1850 TV tuner Dual SATA DVD Burners Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/275780-dell-xps-410-with-lion/ Share on other sites
