HackintoshWannaBe
I have a problem I don't see mentioned veryoften. I can not get the install dvd (or in my case usb) to boto fully into the install screen. I'm using a homemade PC with an Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 motherboard, an AMD Phenom II X2 555 cpu, an onboard graphics ATI Radeon HD 4250. As for memory, I have 1gig, 4 gig, 1, gig installed in the first three slots. I am using iAtkos S3 v2 installed on a USB with Chameleon 2.0 RC4 as the boot loader. I have tried booting with the flags -v -f -x cpus=1 busratio=20 arch=i386 and I have gotten farther than I ever have before, meaning I don't get a "Panic" message, but everything stops after the line: "MAC Framework successfully initialized using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers IOAPIC: Version 0x21 Vectors 64:87" One other thing, and I don't know if this is meaningful, but most of the start up messaghes scroll past in smaller than normal type as if part of a graphical display; the last pagefills the screen much faster in normal text mode. Please help. I'm tearing my hair out trying to get past this point. Thanks.
