troisd
I don't have an external DVD-ROM drive. Using the dd method is interesting but the tiger flat image is an old image (10.4.1). How can I make a new tiger flat image of a more current version? Is it a simple matter of: dd if=/dev/hda1 of=new-tiger.img (assuming /dev/hda1 is my OSx86 partition) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27546-laptop-without-dvd-rom/ Share on other sites
etikette
Try this guide. Leave out the SATA stuff if you don't have a SATA drive. This guide worked for me with 10.4.6 too.
