Trying to patch dsdt of Dell Inspiron N5010

Config:

 

 

CPU : DualCore Intel Core i5 540M, 2800 MHz (21 x 133)

Motherboard Chipset Intel Ibex Peak-M HM57, Intel Ironlake-M

System Memory 3958 MB (DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM)

PCI Express 2.0 x16: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 (M96)

Audio Adapter ATI Radeon HDMI @ ATI RV710/730/740 - High Definition Audio Controller

Audio Adapter IDT 92HD81B1X @ Intel Ibex Peak PCH - High Definition Audio Controller

 

IDE Controller

Intel® 5 Series 6 Port SATA AHCI Controller

Storage Controller A0OEW06Y IDE Controller

Disk Drive USBModem Disk USB Device

Disk Drive WDC WD5000BEVT-75A0RT0 (465 GB, IDE)

Extracted my dsdt and patched with this patch and patched appleLPC since i don't have it.

got the two errors in compilation which didn't fix:

 

5340 error Min/Max/Length/Gran are all zero,but no resource tag

5347 error Min/Max/Length/Gran are all zero,but no resource tag

 

Am i doing something wrong. I'm new to this dsdt thing. :(

It was sucessful. generate c & p states are enabled in chameleon but still it doesn't generate the states. any help with this please? :(

my laptop is always too much hot. Except sleep and the states everything works flawlessly. Waiting for reply. thanks again.

Chameleon-2.1svn-r1768 can't generate c-sates and p-states ?

and looking at scope _PR in my dsdt i can't find a clue.

pstste changer doesn't work for me so can't find out the pstates

 

any help would be highly appreciated ..

My laptop is hot like a frying pan :(
