Hello.

I've got some trouble with my hackintosh.

I installed it using that tutorial. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=269841

I was wondering why there isn't my sound output (Line out green) in the voodooHDA panel. there only was a kind of hdmi outside that i didn't had.

So i tryed to modify with textedit the kext voodooHDA.kext.

I put "<key>VoodooHDAEnableVolumeChangeFix</key>

<true/>" instead of false.

I rebooted and no more sound ... so i put "false" and rebooted but still no sound.

I tried to test it using the terminal but it said that there was some permissions error.

So i did a permission repair using Disk utility. After that i reboot and now i have video bug. when the desktop is loading, I've got a black and white line that use all my screen ... :worried_anim:

safe mode is the only mode that allow me to boot ...

Does't the way i edited voodoo.Kext is wrong ? and what can i do to get sound back and be able to boot in normal mode ?

Thanks

Thanks for the tips.

I reinstal voodoo.kext with kextutility 2.3.2 but i still can't boot, i've got a video bug.

Before the screen bug, i did a permition repair and it's repair the kext i use for my videocard atiradeonx2000.kext

So i reinstalled the kext and now instead solid black and white, it's solid gray Hmmmm :( ...

any idea ?

edit :

I reinstalled S.L. Everything fine ...
