maltic
Hi, I am absolutely new to this and managed to installed 10.7.2 on a Precision 490. Sleep is not working out of the box (SleepEnabler seems to be working) and I wonder if including a custom DSDT helps. The question: is it possible to automatically create a custom DSDT or do I have to do this manually, e.g. with DSDT patcher? The board includes a STAC 92xx sound adapter which is working with the latest Voodoo driver but I like to use the Apple HDA driver in order to get the adapter to be shown as internal. Is this possible with some DSDT tweaks as well? Help is appreciated - a guide or something would also be useful - didn´t find anything, only device-specific guides. Thanks a lot! M.
