shthap3ns
Hi all, Just finished install Lion 10.7.2 on my machine. I bought the hardware a couple of years ago to build a hackintosh. After having several issues with updates I decided to call it quits and go back to Ubuntu and Windows. I just finished installing 10.7.2 now, and everything seems to work nicely, except for one thing...when I go into "Modifier Keys" in System Preferences > Keyboard, and re-map my controls so that I can use Caps Lock as the ctrl key, it works, but when I restart the computer, it resets my settings to default. Has anyone ever heard of this problem? Is it a software or hardware thing? I'm thinking about buying a real apple keyboard to see if it makes a difference -- recommended? Thanks everyone. Here are my specs: Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R Processor: Intel Quad Core Q8200 (currently 2.33ghz, OC opinions?) RAM: Corsair DDR2 4GB (2x2GB) Video: EVGA 9800GTX+
