Dell XPS-m1530 updating to 10.6.8 then Lion 10.7.2

Hi, I have succesfully installed 10.6.3 from iatkos s3 v2 disc. Everything seems to work ok, except sleep , reboot, shutdown. video is a little sluggish. I have tried updating via the combo to 10.6.8 + plus following the post install directions and applying the DSDT.aml and installing kexts to using kexutil. I have been unsuccesful installing 10.6.8. So I tried doing a clean install directly to 10.7.2 via iAtkos L2. It installed after 5 freeze ups and ran. when i tried updating the DSDT and kexts, after reboot it failed. I tried recovering via safe mode, nothing happened. Tried to reinstall i have been unsuccesful as the installer constantly freezes. I tried disabling the speedstep in the bios. ( 50/50 ) .

 

If you guys have any pointers it will help.

XPS M1530

Core 2 Duo 1.83 Ghz Proc.

4 GB of RAm

120GB HDD

Nvidia Geforce 8400m GS. 128MB RAM

Wifi disabled - since intel chip wont work

Eth Card - Marvel ( Yukon ) 880 something number.
