Romz
Hello, I install Mac OS X 10.4.6-JaS on my PC (athlon 64 3500+, geforce 7800GT) in VMWare Workstation 5.0. I have the following problem after the install while booting : http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/6476/ma...mdnvidiajd2.jpg Somebody on irc told me to wait ... i did just wait 20 mins, it didn't change anything and the error message repeats forever. I installed the proper patches (sse2, sse3, amd base, combo, decrypts ..). I checked on google but there are many issues related to this error message :/ Does anyone have an idea ? How to ensure my hardware is compatible ? Thank you for your help. Romz
Up. I saw some topics where people disable extensions. Is that a solution ? And how to know which extension causes the problem, and how to disable it ? Rammjet
I installed the proper patches (sse2, sse3 You should install SSE2 or SSE3, not both, depending upon the capability of your processor. Romz
Thank you Rammjet, I just formated and reinstalled with the patches : combo, sse3, amd base, 10.4.6 decrypts *dontremember* 1.2. Still the same error. I tried to remove all the NVDA* extensions (by putting them in another folder on the drive, just in case ...), it didn't change anything. What happens if I remove all the extensions ? Have I a chance to boot ? Or what other solution do I have ?
