acerimmer
My OEM battey wore out. Replaced it with a Dell 9 cell extended life battery. Now OSX86 won't boot. I booted in verbose mode and observed that the process seemed to freeze at the battery kext statement. Ideas? Fixes? Thanks in advance. lag0matic
My netbook did the same sort of thing when I installed more memory. I wound up breaking the install trying to fix it, and had to rebuild from the ground up. However, I stumbled across a possible fix later on in my searching. If you're system uses a DSDT file, you may have to delete it, and re-create it. Again, I broke mine trying to do this, so, I cant really offer advice, but perhaps google will provide? 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/274848-replacement-battery-breaks-osx86/#findComment-1787772 Share on other sites
