adam_ar
Hi All, I would like to get a working installation of Mac OS X on my Sony Vaio VPCEB390X notebook. Specs can be seen in my signature. I have tried many different ways of setting it up without success(full display support, wifi, sound, speedstep, sleep, etc.). I finally got hold of Ubuntu liveCD and have extracted the DSDT. Please find it attached .aml and decompiled .dsl files compressed into .zip file. I would appreciate a lot if somebody can help me patch this DSDT to enable full functionality on my notebook. Here is what I think I should be doing once I get the DSDT patched: 1. Install 10.6.3 from retail DVD. I have used ##### and nawcom's modCD. If there is any better alternative, please suggest. It should preferably support install to MBR. 2. Install patched DSDT/kext. 3. upgrade to 10.6.8. 4. Fix any issues there might be. 5. Enjoy using Mac OS X on my notebook! Please let me know if I may have missed something and also if you need any further details in this regard. -Adam I realized my signature is not visible if I logged out.
