jujuforce Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 Hello guys, I just bought a ATI Radeon HD 7970 and my mac os x is not booting anymore while my windows seven is still working great. This is what I get instead of the chimera booting screen (attached file) If I plug back my old ATI Radeon HD 5850, I can boot no problem. Should I wait for a new Chimera or something ? TH3L4UGH1NGM4N Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 I second what Matty said I don't recall chimera supporting the Tahitian cards more or less os x even accepting them yet so it shouldn't really surprise you that it's not working at least yet.
