srojtas Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 I have a Lenovo z570 that I have been trying to install Lion onto. Lion installs fine and while installing Lion, the bluetooth and the USB ports work right. After Lion is installed and I boot up to the Lion partition, the Bluetooth isn't seen and connecting USB devices cause kernel panics. Also, I cannot figure out how to get Chimera working on this laptop. It has 8 GB RAM with a 2.2 GHz Core i5 Sandy Bridge and Nvidia GeForce 520m Optimus Graphics (Which has been disabled). Bought this from Costco in August. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Black SER Posted January 8, 2012 Share Posted January 8, 2012 Chimira doesn't install on a GUID formatted disk Also I was having the same issues, but it seems like it's a kext issue. I recall having the same problems when I first did my install.
