I have a HP Pavillion DV6500 that I would like to put either Mac OSX Snow Leopard or Lion (if possible) on it. My specs are:

System Model: HP Pavilion dv6500 Notebook PC

BIOS: Ver 1.00PARTTBL

Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU T5250 @ 1.50GHz (2 CPUs), ~1.5GHz

Memory: 3070MB RAM

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS

I would like to be able to browse the web and use xcode.

I have a snow leopard install disc that came with my iMac that looks like this: http://i27.lulzimg.com/d5a9c39b08.jpg Can I use that disc to install Snow Leopard on my DV6500?

I have purchased Lion from the mac app store so I could use that to install Lion.

How would I go about installing Lion or Snow Leopard on my DV6500?

I have gone ahead and starting following this guide to make a lion install flash drive. http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/#####-install-mac-os-x-lion-using.html

My only worry is the

NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS graphics card. Will this card work with lion?

Of course it will work, i have a HP dv6825el laptop, i have 10.7.0 (haven't updated yet). Just use GpraphicsEnabler in your Chameleon booltoader OR use (in my situation, much better) NVEnabler.kext

The best way i think is to add the graphics card into your DSDT (I'm working on it) but since i replaced my motherboard i have a 8400m GS with 128 MB of ram (i had 512 ram before), so i'll report to you if it works well.

Btw i installed using the guide you're refering, the usb was made for about 2 (TWO) hours (very very slow)... so be sure to wait it up ;)
