sdelano Posted September 12, 2006 Share Posted September 12, 2006 I have been trying to copy my install's of XP and OSX over to seperate partitions on a new hard drive and try to make that same drive boot. So far I have been able to copy the installs with Carbon Copy Cloner (OSX) and scopy.exe (XP) (http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_copy_a_Windows_installation). Just when I set the drive as the primary boot drive and try to boot it just wont boot. The computer hangs on boot. I am trying to boot using the Chain0 method as that is what I have been using on the previos hard drive. Any suggestions? Is there anyone out there that has done this before?
