raid install

so im attempting to install lion on my asrock extreme 3 gen 3 motherboard using this guide.

i get as far as booting chameleon but both drives that are in raid give an error mach_kernal not found. im guessing this is because chameleon is installed on the raid helper partition(disk0s3) and the mach_kernal is on the raid group partition (disk3s1). so my question is this, how do i modify the com.apple.Boot.plist to point to the the mach_kernal?

 

also my disks seem to move around when i reboot which is weird. sometimes they look like

 

disk0 - 500gb raid member 1 (6gb/s port0 on the mb)

disk1 - 500gb raid member 2 (6gb/s port1 on the mb) there are only 2 6gb ports

disk2 - 250gb storage disk (3gb/s port0 on the mb)

disk3 - 1tb raid disk ( virtual w/e idk how to explain it )

 

but other times it looks like

 

disk0 - 500gb raid member 1 (6gb/s port0 on the mb)

disk1 - 250gb storage disk (3gb/s port0 on the mb)

disk2 - 500gb raid member 2 (6gb/s port1 on the mb)

disk3 - 1tb raid disk ( virtual w/e idk how to explain it )

 

and sometimes

 

disk0 - 250gb storage disk (3gb/s port0 on the mb)

disk1 - 500gb raid member 1 (6gb/s port0 on the mb)

disk2 - 500gb raid member 2 (6gb/s port1 on the mb)

disk3 - 1tb raid disk ( virtual drive? i dont know how to explain it )

 

but ive never actually changed where anything was plugged into.

 

any input on either issue would be greatly appreciated!
