DarkMio
So, I previously posted months ago, that I setting up a hackintosh - I had some problem, some days of stress and problems, mistakes were made - and so on. I managed it, the system works flawlessly (10.7.2). The processor is known as 3.41GHz Intel Core i7 - the normal power of the cpu. Infos: The Mainboard is an expensive Gigabyte, the system has the DSDT. My Intel i7-2600k is overclocked with the opened multiplier to x46 (4,6GHz). The System vCore is around 1.38V - this is normal for this multiplier. Furthermore the system IS STABLE. Different Stresstests under Windows (e. g.: SuperPI, Geekbench, Skyrim Graphicbenches, Physic-Animation of Crysis) shown, that the system runs with 4.6GHz stable - even with 8Threads on 100%. Maxtemp with 2hours V1.38 100% CPU-Rendering was 66°C. And this on the worst CPU-Measurement. The CPU A/B/D were still on around 57°C. Now there are a few problems: 1.) How can I view my ACTUAL CPU-Freq? 2.) How I use these speedstepper-things? With Windows it uses the multiplier - under OS X it seems to be x34 forever. 3.) How can I give the system access to the REAL 4.6GHz? Off-topic-problem: My Appstore doesn't work. It says, that the machine isn't recorgnized or so - have anyone a good link to fix that? Thanks in advance, Mio Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/273067-i7-2600k-46ghz-oc-ov-speedstepper-and-stuff/ Share on other sites
