I installed os x 10.6.6i 3 days ago and its working so much better than windows 7 ! my hardware is : Motherboard: Asus P5G41T - M LE ( about 40€) 8 GB Kingston Ram (40€) 2,44 GHz Quad Core (think was about 200€ 40% price reduced for 3 years ago) External sound card (Firewire (Focusrite saffire pro 24) for music production)200€ Nvidia 9600 GT And the normal pc stuff... the installation worked with no problems without ACHI support! Just install with default BIOS settings. The only problem i had is to get a internet (ethernet) connection, but after a few days i got it! just download this ! :AtherosL1cEthernet.kext Hope its helpful for someone!
