MK500
I need to make some changes to my com.apple.Boot.plist. I'm running a 3 disk stripe with Apple software RAID. So on each disk I have a hidden "Boot OSX" partition. I need to make changes to each of the three partitions (one per disk) whenever I need to add an extension to /Extra (I'm using Chameleon). My problem is that I have several locations where com.apple.Boot.plist exists, and I'm not sure which one I need to edit. 1) Boot OSX/com.apple.boot.P/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist 2) Boot OSX/Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist 3) /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist The first two exist on the "helper" partitions on each RAID disk. That third one is on the root of my mounted stripe. Would someone kindly explain what the difference is between these three com.apple.Boot.plist files when using Chameleon? Does one of them override the others? Should I create one version and copy it to all three locations? Thanks much for any help.
MK500
So nobody knows what this folder is? com.apple.boot.P Is it some kind of cache? Maybe I can delete it and it will rebuild itself?
