coolken84 Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 Using iAtkos L1 I'm having issues converting the .dmg image file to .iso .. have been using power iso as converter, and getting an error during conversion. "an attempt was made to move the file pointer before the beginning of the file" error happens about 2/3 the way through the conversion process every time. To be safe I downloaded the file twice on separate computers in case I had a corrupt image. Am using power ISO on both machines running XP Pro and Windows 7 64bit. Checked the file and... [jakub@localhost iATKOS_L1]$ file iATKOS_L1.dmg iATKOS_L1.dmg: # ISO 9660 CD-ROM filesystem data 'iATKOS_L1 ' (bootable) So just rename it to .iso and burn... I'm not a osx whiz, hope it will work with all boot functionality. It gets stuck when it shows the rotating vertical bar on the left top corner, than the vert. bar stops and nothing happens. Any idea? (while I'll try another PC...)
