HI all!

i managed to connect to internet. I just put one old PCI ethernet card in motherboard an it recognized it rightaway. So I woul recomend to all of You out there to buy a native working ethernet PCI card for a few $.

But I am still having problems with sound.

I also tried to connect via USB Line6 POD XT Live (they made drivers for intell based macs) but no luck.

Has anyone got realteks HD audio working?

What sound card (PCI) would You recomend to buy that it would work native?

HI!

i got it working,.... Just stereo (5.1 are still dreams) & as You predicted input signal is also disabled.

I will post the procedure for this motherboard.

Use this simple "walkthrough"

1. Delete AppleHDA.kext:

In Terminal, type: sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext

sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext

sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache

2) Edit AppleAzaliaAudio.kext:

In Terminal, type: sudo pico /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAzaliaAudio.kext/Contents/Info.plist

Search for (use hotkey= ctrl + w):

<key>IOHDAudioCodecVendorID</key>

change the string to:

<string>0x10ec0882</string>

Exit pico

sudo pico /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAzaliaAudio.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleAzaliaController.kext/Contents/Info.plist

Search for (use hotkey= ctrl + w):

<key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key>

change the string to:

<string>0x27d88086</string>

Exit pico

3) Clean up the system:

In Terminal, type: sudo diskutil repairpermissions /

sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAzaliaAudio.kext

kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions/

4) Then, reboot and enjoy sound out of two channels.

p.s.

special thanx to Rammjet
