dlambert
I Couldn't find a clear guide, so I took bits and pieces of other guides! My Specs: AMD Phenom II x4 Oc'd to 3.7GHz MSI e43 880G motherboard Nvidia GTS 450 Things you will need: SnowLeo's Distro (you bay find it somewhere) 10.7.0 Legacy kernel from nawcom (10.6.8) will work too! http://nawcom.com/osx86/files/10.6/Kernels/10.7.0/ 10.6.7 Versions of IOPCIFAMILY.kext and AppleACPIPlatform.kext (To avoid PCI configuration error) ##### (YES I KNOW IT SAYS INTEL ONLY) Get snowleopard version. 10.6.8 COmbo Update from Apple. Nvidia quadro drivers Customize using: 1. Make sure the first box is ticked. (So it actually installs osx) 2. Chamelion RC5 3. AMD Patch 4. Chocolate Kernal 5. FakeSMC Then Reboot, I had to use GraphicsEnabler=No You should be able to see your desktop now! Then, install the combo update, but DO NOT RESTART!!!! Install the legacy kernel package. Then run ##### and install FakeSMC and NullCPUmanagment (otherwise you cannot boot) The use Kext utility to install the 10.6.7 Kexts (above) and then repair your permissions using kext utility. Then Reboot!!! You should now have a stable amd hackintosh! To install GFX driver: When i attempted to open the driver pkg I got "This computer will not support this Nvidia Graphics Soultion" So I right clicked and selected "show package contents" and Installed all the drivers on by one starting with "preinstall" and ending with "post install" Repair permissions and reboot!! Now you should be able to change your resolution (If the screen goes blue, just reboot) ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
