SiGiLO
[RESOLVED] Im experiencing the same issue, i installed iAtkos L1 yesterday on this specs: Core 2 Duo 2.66 Gigabyte G31M-ES2C 4Gb Ram Nvidia (ECS) 9800 GT Everything went well excempt for the Etherenet interface, wich was resolved with the AtherosL1cEthernet.kext found here: http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=1637 Using the kext utility included in the iAtkos L1 distribution. Now everything runs quite well but i can not log in to app store. I get the same message as jimzhang but in spanish, since it's the lang of my installation ("Tu dispositivo o computadora no pudo ser verificado. Ponte en contacto con atención al cliente, para recibir ayuda."). Also tried both fixes mentioned but no luck. Has anyone found a workaround to it? EDIT: My Ethernet interface it's already on en0 but no app store login working EDIT 2: My /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist, file is showing: <key>IOBuiltin</key> <false/> That must be it... ill try to fix it and post the results back. EDIT 3: Ive tried the "Patching DSDT" method but i got errors compiling, so i thought it was buggy code i was inserting, so i opened my DSDT and tried to compile it right after (without modifications) and i got errors too... :/ some help would be very appreciated here. EDIT 4: It's finally working! What i did this time was adding this: <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> to the file /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist And this: <key>PCIRootUID</key> <string>1</string> to the /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist Note: org.chameleon.Boot.plist it already contained <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> I can now log in to app store @privateprotected - org.chameleon.Boot.plist contents: ?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string></string> <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Quiet Boot</key> <string>No</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> <key>npci</key> <string>0x2000</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>PciRoot</key> <string>1</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>No</string> <key>PCIRootUID</key> <string>1</string> </dict> </plist> [EOF] EDIT 5: I installed iAtkos L1 again in another computer An the issue happened again, tried all of the above, included updating Chimera up to version 1.7.0 (current) but that didn't worked either. Note: You can download Chimera's standalone updater on the downloads section of this website (account required) http://www.tonymacx86.com System was already running iDeneb's Snow Leopard (10.6.3). Updated to Lion with iAtkos L1 DVD and installed ComboUpdate up to 10.7.3 Computer specs: Core 2 Duo E7500 MB Intel DG31PR 4Gb Ram Nvidia (ECS) 9800 GT Looking for a solution still. Any help would be much appreciated. @javakrypt - Done that, no luck. But Snow Leopard didn't had AppStore anyway EDIT 6: Working! - downloaded EFI Studio, selected Ethernet, selected Add Device. Then clicked write to com.apple.boot.plist. - Then went to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/apple.com.boot.plist and selected the new key and string it added. - Then coped this string and pasted into the /Extra/apple.com.boot.plist file and saved. Then important STEP! - Remove all network devices from System Preferences/Network. - Delete deleting library>preferences>system configuration> NetworkInterfaces.plist file. * Finally, Reboot. After reboot, go to System Preferences/Network add add devices. Click (Ethernet) FIRST!! Then add the other adapters you use to connect to the internet. -- This solution was originally posted by aae55555 and found HERE --
Powaking
All I did to resolve the app store issue was delete the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist and reboot. After the first few reboots I kept getting KP but it worked itself out and everything is working........minus sleep. Because of sleep I'm sticking with SL for now until the sleep issue can be fixed. JavaKrypt
When I had this error inside Snow Leopard, all I did was delete the Ethernet device from Network, reboot, readd it.
privateprotected
Hi there, SiGiLO@ could you please send us your org.Chmeleon.Boot.Plist as I have tried all above methods and still can't login on App Store, I have been trying to sort this from last 2 days and still no luck. Your help would be much appreciated. Looking forward to hear from your end.
tonu42
My fix was not at all related to the .plist. I fixed mine by reinstalling drivers in a different order or something. Let me see if I can find the post.
