tylak Posted November 2, 2011 Share Posted November 2, 2011 hey everyone, ive been trying to install os x on this laptop for some time now and what a nightmare. its an acer aspire 5600, and yes i did use search. i found this Old Thread on this laptop after a bit of tinkering i decided i wanted atleast snow leo so i tried iAtkos S3. tinkered with different settings, and nothing. i installed it, booted and KP, then i tried booting with -v. and its stuck with " System uptime in nanoseconds: 13257348899". the reason why im posting on the lion board is because i want to install lion instead lol. i have a 10.7.2 dmg retail, and am willing to try any other distro aslong as i can install the iso/dmg to my flashdrive ( to boot from) please any help would be appreciated. cpu is: Intel Core Duo T2050 mobo chipset: i945GM southbridege: 82801GHM (ICH7-M/U) 1.5gb Ram DDR2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/271401-acer-aspire-5600/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
