Hi, i have iatkos s3 v2 booting from my external hard drive and i have lion 7.2 installed on the laptop's internal hdd. I can't get lion to boot. I usually get a pci config begin freeze or a waiting for root device error. i can however boot -s. I think i need to install some older kexts into the lion drive.

So my question is how do I move the working 10.6.8 kexts from the external drive that I'm booted into to the internal drive that i want to boot into?

I followed the tonymac #####/xmove install guide to get to this point.

Finally got it to boot into lion. I ended up using the new blansak lion v3 distro. only problem is that it will only boot from the disc. it dosen't like the bootloader or something. on the bright side osx now recognizes all 512mb of ram on my video card. the most snowleo would see was 128mb.

##### fails before finishing and i tried installing the lastest chimera but it still wont work without the disc.

any advice on my boot problem?
