netseeker Posted October 26, 2011 Share Posted October 26, 2011 Hi , after several times of trying to install osX on my dell laptop now I finally install something on my laptop but unfortunately I'm stuck right after getting things started. I will get a nice error that says please restart your computer and when I try to load the osX with "-v" I'll get this error : A kext releasing a(n) OSSARRY .... .cpp line 244 the exact same problem of this thread : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=222265 and I follow the instruction and surprisigly there is no ElltioForceLegacyRTC.kext available in "/Volumes/Macintosh \HD/System/Librar/Extensions I'm sure that I can have osX on this laptop but there is something tricky about it again here is my spec : cpu : core2due 2ghz ram : 3gb ddr2 hdd : 200gb graphic card : ati radeon 3450 hd mobility ahci mode chosen / ACPI is on and there is no way to turn it off! bios version = A06 I've tried these options during boot : -v -x -f (doesn't help) -v platform=ACPI|X86PC (doesn't help) please please please help me I need osX on my laptop.
