rp13gd
Hi everyone I hope I can get replies this time. I've been struggling for months to make my DVI port work. Tried efi strings, nvenabler, graphics enabler, nvinject, natit and everything I can find from the net but I'm still stuck to using D-Sub. At first I thought it was my old 9500 GT so I bought a new Gigabyte GT 430 1GB. I was so confident that I will have a working DVI this time since I consulted the osx86 wiki compatibility list and there are two users who have tested the card. I tried both their processes but still no luck. Please Help. How come the card works for others and not for me? Is it possible that there's something wrong with my system other than the video card? P.S. DVI works at full hd resolution in Windows, both the 9500 gt and gt 430 but only 59Hz which is weird for me. I'm not sure if this info could help. Thanks! The DVI port started working for me in 10.7.2 on my EVGA GT 430 (in addition to HDMI). Use GraphicsEnabler=Yes and you may need to add npci=0x2000 in ..Boot.plist. rp13gd
Thanks for the reply toleda! Unfortunately still no DVI. I'm currently using GraphicsEnabler=Yes + npci=0x2000 in Boot.plist (efi strings stopped working since 10.7.2 update. Found this DSDT fix for black screen: http://www.hackintosh-india.com/2009/04/fi...after-1072.html but there are no such lines in my DSDT.
