exuptoy
Just purchased a 1.83 macbook 13 running 10.4 Tiger. I have upgraded from 512m to 2gb and overall I am impressed. However, I am not au fait with the basics of Mac. I have downloaded an image of Leopard called Leopard.Single.Layer.sparseimage (leopard image to fit on a single layer dvd) which I have unzipped with unrarx but I have no way burning back to dvd as the MB only has a combo drive. I do have numerous hard drives and usb sticks here. Can anyone advise how I can mount this sparse image onto the stick or make a stick bootable to install the file. Will a mac even handle a sparseimage from stick? Cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/270674-help-making-boot-disk-from-a-sparse-image/ Share on other sites
