zbro
I updated today and I don't even get to the bootloader, so I can't boot with -f flag. Only 4 lines on a black screen saying something like: booto: testing ... done.

T_Simpson
I was having a simular problem when I updated aswell. I am using ##### and ##### so what I did was to install Snow Leopard again from fresh, then when I updated again I when through the process of using the ##### (easy install for DSDT) before I rebooted. This seemed to have solved the problem but I must add that soon after my USB ports did stop working. I left my computer turned off for the rest of the day and when I rebooted the next day all was working as normal. So to cut a long story short you may or may noty need to do a fresh re install of Snow leopard but bear it in mind and how ever you do the DSDT part make sure you run it again when you install the update before you reboot. Sorry bit I am a novice but I'm trying mmy best to share what I have learned so far.
