tha_toadman
is it possible to backup the BIOS on my EAX1600XT Silent from OS X? if so, how? i've had 2 requests from other members for my video cards BIOS but i'm not about to format the box JUST to achieve this. unless, "parallels" would work but I doubt it since that's emulated. or am i wrong? thanks! papa_6
If You have a floppy drive laying around, it's easiest to use the floppy boot way. You could try to run the flash dos app with some emulating software in OS X, but don't bet on it that it works...
tha_toadman
unfortunately, i didn't put a floppy drive into this machine. i think the only way, i'd get around to doing this is if i manage to purchase/upgrade the hard drive in my PC from a sata I 160GB drive to something newer, THEN i'd take the time to backup my BIOS and share with everyone else. hopefully i can get that newer drive here soon and get this done. in the meantime, i'm taking this to mean that it can't be done under OSX. altagor
You atached screen from windows. If you have windows why do you not use WinFlash (http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/281) to grab your bios?
