darockymn
Hello all. I am new to the hackintosh stuff and I would llike some help. I tried the Mac os x sl retail installation method and it didn't work so well for me at all. My system spec is as follows: ASus p8p67 b3 non pro i5 2500k Msi Gtx 560 ti Corsair 2 gb ram x 2 (1 of them removed) I tried using the andyboot cd, only ver 4 managed to boot the machine up before installing Mac os x sl. But KP occurred soon after I booted from the Mac sl retail cd. The KP log is as follows, "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@/Users/nawcom/Builds/xnu-1504.9.26/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1393" Tried boot with -v, - v cpus= 1 , -v maxmem= 2048, -x all wont work. Biod version 1608, turned off EIST and CPU cie. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/270152-p8p67-osx-sl-hack-acpi-issue/ Share on other sites
