[Solved] Asus P8P67 LE

Hello everyone,

 

I just upgraded my pc recently and i thought of trying out hackintosh by using mac os x retail dvd with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url]+[url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and below is my spec:

 

Intel core i5 2500

Asus P8P67 LE

Mushkin ddr3 4gb x 2

nvidia 9800GT

Western Digital 320GB HDD

 

I tried using [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] then swap the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] cd with Mac os x dvd, boot with -v -x or PCIRootUID=1 and i could not even get into the installation screen. It loads in verbose mode and it just stuck at one point with the error "Still waiting for root device". Anyway, I've attached a screenshot below

 

 

and it would be much appreciated if someone could help me out with this issue. Thanks!

 

Btw, i managed to get the issue solved by disabling the firewire in BIOS. Everything works perfectly except for audio. Replying from my Hackintosh. This is great!
