Lord Kain
Hi guys! forgive me if this is a recurring issue, i was not able to find any data related. I'm trying to run an image of Snow Leopard 10.6.8 in VMWARE WS 7 I did all the required steps, unlocked the MacOS Guest, enabled virtualization in BIOS (also checked it with securable application), etc. The thing is: I'm not able to make it start. I was getting the infamous message "A virtual CPU has entered the shutdown state..." I tried different solutions, such as changing some values in the VMX file, and several workarounds i found in different forums, but none of this worked. Further looking into the log file, i found out that the issue was related to the SCSI device. The exact error I'm getting is this one: Oct 08 03:12:26.828: vcpu-0| SCSI0: RESET BUS Oct 08 03:12:26.829: vcpu-0| SCSI DEVICE (scsi0:0): REQUEST SENSE without CheckCondition status. Oct 08 03:12:27.461: vcpu-0| Triple fault. Oct 08 03:12:27.461: vcpu-0| MsgHint: msg.monitorEvent.tripleFault Oct 08 03:12:27.461: vcpu-0| A virtual CPU has entered the shutdown state. This would have caused a physical machine to restart. This can be caused by an incorrect configuration of the virtual machine, a bug in the operating system or a problem in the VMware Workstation software. I looked for a solution to this problem, but as i stated before, i found nothing. Everything else seems to be working fine, but this SCSI error is preventing me from running the virtual machine. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
