[Solved]HP dv6-3040 i7 720qm, ATI HD5650, 4GB+2GB RAM,

Hi everyone =]

 

I installed Lion with Niresh12495's image, I guess it's the Lion+boot cd in one..

 

I can install successfully, besides having to use cpus=1 at boot but I have resolved this using the kernel found here http://www.kexts.com/view/1759-os_x_lion_d..._lapic_fix.html

 

Now my problem is that I can't install chameleon otherwise it gives a a "failed to locate SMC driver" error. Do I have to install the kexts for my system first then install chameleon, I should I choose another bootloader?

Oh I forgot, is there anyway to uninstall chameleon? I don't knwo how to because after installing it I can't boot, and booting in single user mode I don't have the keyboard working (using USB keyboard). I ask this because I have already tried three installations and it takes a really long time..

I had to usethe HP lapic 11 kernel to resolve the issue.
