Rammjet
My question is if i reinstall OSX with my onboard HD audio disabled will OSX not install any drivers for it, sound doesnt bother me in OSX. Also, when i installed 10.4.6 and did custom, should I have selected the Intel & Amd Patches? i didnt tick the box, could that have something to do with it? The AppleHDA.kext will get installed regardless. But turning sound off might prevent a conflict. But you must select patches under Customize. Click the little arrow beside the patches category to reveal the individual packages. Choose Intel packages, not AMD. Choose SSE3, not SSE2. Choose the 10.4.6 update if you want to end up with 10.4.6. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...ost&id=4249
