Toshiba75HAckintosh Person
Hi everybody, I have a Toshiba A75-2061 Toshiba Satellite with a Pentium 4 Processer clocked at 2.8 ghz. I have been trying to dualboot Windows Xp and Mac OSX Leopard. I have tried to install all the different distributions of OSX including Jas 10.4.6, 10.4.8 , Leo4all v3 and v4. Each time i tweaked with all the bios settings ( AHCI, Legacy USB Support) and I have set my IDE dvd drive to be the primary boot device. However, with all the distributions except Iatkos v. 7, i received the " Still finding root device error. " Now I have finally managed to install iatkos v. 7, however on my first boot I received the same "Still finding root device error". I have tried many fixes and the forums and i'm pretty sure my hardware is compatible enough to install OSX. I would really appreciate it if someone helped me, whether I need the right drivers or if my hardware is incompatible. Here are my specs from Hardware Info: IXP200 3com 3c920b Ethernet Controller RTL-8139/8139c/8139c+ CB1410 Cardbus Controller Atheros AR5001+ Wireless Network Adapter OHCI USB CONTROLLER OHCI USB CONTROLLER EHCI USB CONTROLLER IXP150 AC'97 Audio Controller IXP AC'97 Modem Dual Channel Bus Master PCI IDE Controller Radeon 9100 AGP RS300M AGP SMBUS RS300 Host Bridge Thanks, everybody!
