iStat reports strange SSD temperature

Hi all,

 

I recently bought a Corsair Force 3 to speed up a bit Lion. I have to admit it runs great, the boot process lasts not more than 10 seconds, the whole system is much more responsive and so on.

 

My only concern is about the reported temperature related to the disk. I use FakeSMC 3.10 (+ plugins) to monitor the temperatures of the system and iStat keeps reporting a fixed temperature for the SSD of 128° (Celsius degree).

 

Second strange aspect: I partitioned the disk in two, a first partition for the system (85GB) and a second for my university files (35GB). iStat reports that the two partitions have identical dimensions (85GB) and also the used space is identical.

 

What can I do about these two issues?
