The problems comes with my graphic card (ATI Radeon 6550, similar to 5650)... I get with SystemInfo : 1002 ATI Technologies Inc 68c1 Madison [AMD Radeon HD 5000M Series] Display controller VGA compatible controller -> Original ATI5000Controller.kext is good for it ! (Info.plist contains 0x68C11002) With no GraphicsEnabler : Computer starts, resolution is 1024*768 and i can't change it. With GraphicsEnabler=Yes : Computer starts but before go to the desktop, the laptop screen become black, back-light on. I connected an external screen (VGA) and it works fine ! I can change the resolution, graphics effects works... But the other screen is black (but it is recognized) ... Can you help me ? frenguccio Posted November 10, 2011 Share Posted November 10, 2011 Same problem as you. Lion 10.7.2 with original kexts and chimera 1.6 (which supports hd 5650). I've tried to upgrade my bios machine from 1.04 to 1.26. Nothing. With external VGA it's perfect. Do you have any news?
