clethal70
I've made my install from Vertigo 173 OSx86 Install on my computer with everything going well except when I get to the install part where it says Disk Utility then after it starts gathering disk information. My problem is after partitioning my hard drive the way it shows you in the video (windows Xp, Mac OS X and Shared) nothing shows up after the gathering disk infor. but only the dvd-rom with OSx86 on it. I've installed this on my notebook (Sager np7620) with np But was trying to install it n my desktop. I followed the same steps Installing it on my notebook. I partition my hard on the desktop to (windows Xp 25gig, Mac OS X 25gig and Shared 7gig) Any help please. Is there anything else I need besides Acronis Disk Director Suite and Acronis OS Selector? I had just made a fresh install of Windows Xp Pro maybe im mising a driver or something? clethal70
I hook up my IDE cable in the secondary plugs on the MOB instead of the primary bc I was trying to figure out why bios wasnt seeing neither my hard drive or dvd rom. found out I had a bad IDE cable bc I bought a new pair that made everything work, also hooked everything like you have dvd master, hard drive slave and now the install went perfect. I thought I was having problems bc everywhere I read they said AMD mob would be hard but it wasnt for me just my bad cables. Now I just need to get audio on my mob asrock 939 dual 64bit, it uses realtek audio but when I installed the os x with all the amd drivers, no audio and I have search here looking for answers so far no good news. Sorry it took me so long to respond but i was on my os x system and I didnt have this bookmark on there yet Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26857-drives-dont-show-up-during-osx86-install/#findComment-187118 Share on other sites
