Rammjet
You didn't say this, but it sounds like you are doing this in VMware. You also didn't say whether this happened when starting up in preparation for the installation or after you have completed the installation and are making your first boot into OSX. Lastly, if this is after you have installed, did you see the Customize button, did you click it and did you select any packages for your computer? ziglg
sorry, yeah this is in vmware. And it's on the first load. Rammjet
And it's on the first load. First load BEFORE you install or first load AFTER you install? And again, if this is the first load AFTER you installed, did you click the Customize button and choose packages for your computer? Running Athlon XP 2400+ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26850-the-cpu-has-been-disabled-by-the-guest-operating-system-you-will-need-to-power-off-or-reset-the-virtual-machine-at-this-point/#findComment-183224 Share on other sites
fireshark
READ already: Athlon XP is NOT supported, sorry but it does not have the SSE2 instruction set extension OSX needs. No, there is no way to upgrade short of buying another processor.
