enb14
I'm tempted to update to 10.4.7 with the combo patch from apple so my question is what do I still going to need from 10.4.4 What I know is this: 1 - system.kext 2 - applesbios.kext 3 - Kernel.framework Is that correct or do I need something else? troisd
1) Apple's 10.4.7 Combo Update DMG file 2) Pacifist to install (1) *except* mach_kernel 3) Semjaza's decrypted files 4) Backup and restore mach_kernel and /System/Library/Extensions 5) Fix a few symlinks This is the basic stuff... the actual steps is a little more complicated, especially (4) and (5). What do you mean with that, do you mean that I have to repair permisions? I think I need to backup something else, and also which kexts from 10.4.7 are safe to use?
