This hard drive is the only thing I have remaining of a Macbook (3,1) with snow.

Anyone know of a way to boot this thing in a desktop?

I have tried ##### to no avail. it gets to darwin bootloader but it has a caution icon over the apple... it keeps pinwheeling

The components are:

i5 processor

8 gb ram

onboard video

i need more info to help you. what are the detailed specs of you PC? motherboard etc.

when booting from #####, type -v so that it gives verbose output and we can see where it gets stuck.

you double posted, see: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=267968 probably an accident, but be careful in the future on how many times you click "send" or refresh.
