d-track
I'm satisfied with my desktop and it's mobo's Intel GMA950 since i am not using graphic software that much and that intensively and i don't play games on my computer. Only problem that there aren't 64 bit OSX drivers for GMA950 and i'm restricted to use 32 bit kernel. I'd like to use a cheap low profile pcie card that works OOB or close to it because i want to keep the system as vanilla as possible and i'm tired of tweaking. I have a VGA (D-SUB) connector on my monitor so let's take it into account but at the end of the year i'd buy a new one with HDMI or DVI. The best solution would be DVI or HDMI then i could use a DVI to VGA or HDMI to VGA adapter until then. Dual display is not so important but good to have. As a low profile card i prefer passive cooling. My budget is under 100 USD/ 80 EUR. QE/CI is a must without too much slowdown compared to the "real " speed. No matter if it's Nvidia or ATI. Thanks much in advance! I'm using Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/267942-video-card-advice-needed/ Share on other sites
