nesnfsn
I have been using a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L motherboard with 8 GB 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM, WD 500 GB Sata-II Hard Drive, and an nVidia GeForce 9600GT Video Card since October 2010 with Cartri's Old BIOS mod and install methods (long since removed BIOS files and installation disks from his website). Updated to 10.6.8 when it came out, even updated to 10.6.8 supplement, no problems. Only thing I have ever had to modify was the audio kexts, and use VoodooHDA. This past week, every time I boot up the computer, I run into a KP. I am attaching 3 images taken from my cell phone, as well as a screen grab of sections of the More Information from my About This Mac. If I boot with the "-v" boot flag, OS X loads without KP. I appreciate that this works, albeit with the -v, but wanting to know what might have changed, or if either a memory module or some other hardware component might be dying a slow death (or a kext has been corrupted) that might be causing this problem. Hoping someone can identify for me what might be causing these recurring KPs. nesnfsn in sunny South Florida
nesnfsn
Anyone with advice on how to resolve this (other than just using -v each boot)?
