Please Help me complete my install

[JERRY!]

I just finished installing a working install of OSX86 snow leopard on a HP dc7100 desktop everything works.

 

internet/onboard ethernet works

graphics works but only displays in 1024X768 working on getting that better (any suggestions)

sound works

usb mouse and keyboard work

playing dvd movies doesnt work yet (any suggestions there)

 

what updates are safe to do from a fresh install please include links to guides if possible

 

this is awesome i'm excited to see if this will work.

 

this computer is literally 7 years old!
