iee168 Posted September 6, 2011 Share Posted September 6, 2011 Hey Community, after changing my Mainboard to a ASUS P5Q SE2 the installation of SL 10.7.7 worked very well with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and Chameleon. It boots up very well and it looks like everything´s fine... AppStore is working as well as my NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT and OnBoard Sound without any additionals DSDTs or KEXT-Files. BUT... The Machine (3GB RAM, Core2Quad Q6600) is veeeeery slow, especially when the HDD is in full use AND every time I use it, it freezes after a while. I think it has something to do with the Standby, becouse it only freezes when I´m off the Device for a while. Does anybody have some suggestions to me how I can improve the Performance and the Freeze-Problem? Thank you for reading (and probably your answer)!
