meysq
Hello, I just recently installed SnowLeo 10.6 on my hard drive and successfully updated it to 10.6.8. In preparation for an installation of Lion, I had to convert my partition format from MBR to GUID. I did a Time Machine backup of my current state and formatted successfully. After creating my partitions, I restored my backup to my main drive and the Installer claimed it was successful. However, when I booted I was greeted by the Chameleon loader followed by an immediate kernel panic in verbose mode. The line that stands out the most here is panic(cpu 0 caller 0x47f5ad): "Process 1 exec of /sbin/launchd failed, errno 8\n"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1504.15.3/bsd/kern/kern_exec.c:3145 Is there any way I can fix this? I really don't want to have to start my entire configuration all over again... Thanks in advance.
